Day charter business for sale in The British Virgin Islands - Caribbean

PATOUCHE

For sale now, a well established and highly successful day charter business. It is "The Best of Both Worlds; Sailing and Snorkelling". This turn-key charter operation is now available for immediate* take over!

When ?#128;˜Patouche II?#128;™ was licensed in the BVI 9 years ago, it was granted a FLEET LICENSE! This allows for the expansion of this business up to FOUR boats. With the incredible growth happening in the BVI, this license is extremely valuable! A prospectus for expansion will be given to the new owner.

Our clientele come from the hotels, villas, locals, and cruise ships from Tortola, Virgin Gorda and even the USVI. We have been working with four-star Peter Island Resort, located on its own island, Peter Island, as their exclusive catamaran for private groups and individuals for 8 years.

Our advertising encompasses all tourist areas in the BVI through striking pink flyers, full colour laminations, special villa laminations, posters in strategic locations, signs, the "British Virgin Islands Welcome Magazine", travel guides (Fodders, Frommers, Best of the B.V.I.), and a spot on the travel video "Les Grandes Antilles" by ?#128;˜Antoine?#128;™ (some of our guests of different nationalities have told us that they found us from that video!), repeat business (approximately 25%!), word-of-mouth (the best advertising-over 50%!) and now, the Internet (growing rapidly).

?#128;˜V.E.Y. Corp. Ltd, is totally debt free! The name "Patouche II" is well respected within the tourism and commercial communities as well as the local government. We have developed a very simple, easy bookkeeping system to handle the financial side of the business. This system reveals all the important business statistics at a glance which contributes markedly to the ease of management.

Because of our success and for our pleasure, we only work this day charter business for 8 months a year. There is definitely plenty of business to justify at least 10 months operation with a 2 month vacation!

There are many advantages to doing business in the BVI: low taxes, low crime, no captain?#128;™s license requirements, all the off-shore benefits, strong currency (US $), cash business, and warm weather; not to mention the perfect winds, crystal clear waters and nights glittering with stars!

Business Transition
flag_line.gif (3211 bytes)

As noted in our business inventory, the V.E.Y. Corporation Fleet License is included. We will spend a minimum of 1 month with the new owner assisting with the business transfer, business and boat training and the introduction to all our business alliances and connections. We are also prepared to teach about our marketing methods specific to the BVI?#128;™s plus the hidden, delicate secrets that we have discovered through trial and error.

Remember, also, that our computer, ?#128;˜Patouche?#128;™ software, website, cellular phone, Hyundai Excel LS, freezer and retail sales inventory are just some of the other amenities also included. Retail sales is a good money maker!

V.E.Y. Corp. Ltd., of course, agrees to sign a five year minimum "no competition " waiver in it?#128;™s related field of day charter.

Why are we selling? We have lived in the Virgin Islands for over 14 years ("Frenchie", 27 years!).Now, for family and health reasons, we feel it is time to make a change.
